Do you get my ezines + good links to use
It just occurred to me that everyone who visits me here might not know about the ezines…
There’s one for real estate, one for fundraising, and one for marketing in general. If you go to my primary website: www.marte-cliff.com, you’ll see a sign up box on the top left. When you add your name and email you’ll be directed to a page where you can choose one or all.
I try to mail to the real estate group weekly, the others depending upon what I find that seems worthwhile to send. In other words, I won’t overload your in-box!
I promised good links… the first one is something you can do for our service men and women. A friend sent me a link just this morning where you can go enter your name and message and send a thank you postcard at no charge… I did it, and it only took a minute: www.LetsSayThanks.com
It’s the real deal – sponsored by Xerox.
Next, I think it was a Twitter post I followed to find a list of ten free press release sites. Sometimes I forget how I got someplace, but that doesn’t matter. Just go to this blog and get the list. If you can turn what you’re doing in your business into “news” and write it well, it will be picked up and will be wonderful cost-free advertising for you.
Just remember, a press release can’t look like an ad. It has to be news that leads back to you. If you can’t figure out how to write it, get in touch. Press releases are one of the things I do.
If you haven’t tried Twitter yet, visit me and see what it’s all about. Kinda fun, and when you start following other people you find some really interesting information.
What I’ve been working on today was a letter for the Battered Mother’s Resource Fund. Because the director became ill and couldn’t keep working to fund it, the Hotline is in danger of being discontinued. Not good, especially at this time of year when Christmas seems to cause volatile people seem to explode more readily. If you’d like to know about it, or can pitch in a dollar or two, go to www.batteredmothers.org.
OK, that’s it for today.
Keep working on your marketing: Remember that in good times you should advertise and in bad times you must.
