Plan Ahead for Your Labor Day Promotions
It’s so easy to leave everything until the last minute, and if you’re having a busy summer it’s even easier. But Labor Day and “the kids are back in school” are both good milestones in the year for you to use in a promotion.
So think about it now. Do you have something to offer for the last big week-end of summer? Can your product or service offer a last-minute treat for kids who feel like they’re having to go back and sit in a classroom while summer still waits outdoors? How about a treat for those Moms and Dads who have been juggling work schedules with kids’ schedules all summer?
Find a way to tie your offering to the holiday and/or the start of school.
Labor Day is September 7 – so start now and get your promotions ready to hit the newspapers, your website, or your email messages by the last week of August.
Writing good ad copy takes time, so write it now, then look at it, edit it, and polish it next week. Take the time to send a message that will fill your email in-box, make your phone ring, or fill your store with eager customers.

great photos. but just something I have doubts about the precise definition of a plant in the photo. What are these bushes?
