You’re not Macy’s, but…
Maybe you can use their marketing idea.
I just learned that on October 17 Macy’s department stores will hold a “Shop for a Cause” day… 501c3 non-profits can get “passes” to sell for $5 each that will allow the holder to get 25% off one item and 10-20% off other items that they buy on that day.
This is a great opportunity for non-profits to make some extra money, but it also means a whole lot of traffic for Macy’s! Not only that, it promotes goodwill for Macy’s that other advertising just can’t match.
How could you use that idea to increase sales in your storefront?
How could you use that idea to increase sales on your internet site?
Think about that.
Oh – and if you’re a non-profit, Google Macy’s Shop for a Cause, then go sign up!
