How Will Hurricane Irene Affect Your Business?
If you’re on the East coast dealing with flooding, power outages, and worse, your business is very obviously affected.
Either you’re “out of business” for the time being, or you’re going 17 directions at once working on clean up, delivering supplies, tending to those who were injured, or working in some other capacity that’s a direct response to the disaster.
But those far away are affected as well.
For me, it means not being able to connect with a client whose copywriting project was to start today.
For some businesses that planned to ship product to the affected areas today, it probably means cancelled orders.
For others it no doubt means more orders – ones that need to get out in a hurry.
For some that expected to receive products shipped from the affected areas, it means that their goods aren’t going to arrive at the scheduled time.
